Dread...not.
Well folks it finally happened. After 4 years of careful cultivation my dreadlocks of power have been merciless shorn. I took the scissors to them last night and now have about an inch of hair all over. I am a little bit sad but I feel strangely liberated.

I can now do stuff with my hair again like dye it, style it and erm.....grow it again(?)

It feels weird as I have had long hair for nearly 10 years.

My gf's response has been surprisingly positive, as she thought I would "have a strange shaped head". This however, has been proven not to be the case.

I agree. I've cut my hair once since 2002 and the time before that was because i let a trainee hair-person friend of mine do some experiementing. needless to say, he now an ex-friend thanks to his pink-hedgehog cut.
