play ireland
hey there guys. i've been home a week now and i've had a little ol hassle about playing here and it being my home i'd love to. i think it would be a good move we'd be well received, and have plenty of accomodation along the way. we just need to commit to a time we can all make, which shouldn't be to hard.
there is little around and about the triangle area except rock and mainstream cover bands, with some intermitant severe death metal; feel free to correct me cause i haven't lived here for 3 years, it's just how i remember it. further a field may well be different, i've seen some good shows in belfast. even if we jsut take 3 or 4 days to do gigs in the north and do soutth another time, although it's not that far to dublin. we could do england.....wales...sail to dublin.....north ireland....... sail back and finish in scotland. if we were able to do it in one go. on the subject of gigs, i friend of mine mentioned he was applying for a tent at glastonbury..........he needs bands and asked if we'd be up for it. waiting to hear more. neway must be off to make vegan chocolate yule log for tomorrow........i'm cooking xmas dinner for family. have a good day everyone, and thanks fritz. |

I got an email today from some friends of Yakuza, from Belfast, so there's a possibility there.
Like i've said before, it all comes down to time and timing - postgrad. ![]() |

There's a great night set up at the Cromore Halt, Portstewart. It's on every two weeks.
The first week of the month theres an open mike nite and there are some amazing talents from the local area who show up. Id recommend it to anyone even though its mostly country, folkish and soft rock stuff. The second week is a live band. Again its the same mix of music but there are still some incredibly talented musicians playing there. It's run by Doc Doherty and a few other local musicians. I'm heading there this weekend, I'll get you a contact number if youre interested. |

that would be good, i reckon we'll only manage belfast and derry, but chris and i are building an acoustic set, so perhaps that would be more feasible. last night we decided a basic tour plan, so we're going to do ireland in a seperate weekend, mid-late sept. i know doc, he is jill and emma's cousin. but get a number or email address anyway. thanks matey
