New guitar.
I want to get a new guitar, even if i can't really afford to.

I want a Danelectro U2 (if i can ever find one!) or a Telecaster of some sorts.

Try a BC Rich model. You'll probably find it's suited to your needs Mike.

A telecasters probably going to be a safer bet, those U2 guitars seem a bit too much style over substance for my tastes. they just don't sound like they can make any sort of noise at all.
Tele's are good solid woraday machines, and should be able to stand up to a bit of abuse

I was going to be nice to this guitar.

You should know fine well i buy musical equipment on the basis of how it looks. I need to find a tele in the correct colour before i splash the cash.

Hey Fritz, you seem to know a lot about guitars.

Do you know if Stagg or Encore does a guitar along the lines of those BC Rich's. It's just i've never heard of BC Rich before, i don't want to get stung buying some no-name guitar. I want quality for my cash.

What do you recommend?

Err, I was only joking dude. BC Rich guitars are the ones that bands like Slipknot use. Sorry.

I like the look of the Burns Marquee as well. I played a Burns years ago and loved it. Thought it was the nicest guitar i'd played. So i may try and hunt down one of them.
