Fence Homegame in Anstruther

Anyone fancy going to this?

I can go on the Saturday as i'm off work, but not the Sunday. Dunno if Cat or Chris will be around, but G and Ewan, i'm looking at you!

It would be fun. Plus i hear there's good fish'n'chips in that part of the world...

I was planning to use the gigs as my entertainment while you were away fetching chips for me! Or bring Louise and you can take it in turns to buy my chips!

Saturday was braw, especially James Yorkston and King Creosote. I've had "St. Patrick" and "Homeboy" stuck in my head ever since!

I had a really nice time, it was great to be at a festival (of sorts!) where everyone was there for the music - in the hall in the evening everyone was pretty much silent while people were playing! The reception that JY and KC both got was amazing!

Sadly i couldn't go on Sunday, but Ewan did.

We both nominate the Homegame as the 2006 The A Forest School Trip.

Well, in the end only 3 of us made it to Homegame 3 but it was a brilliant weekend. Best bits were:

both Adem sets
the many appearances of King Creosote
Pictish Trail guitar heroics
finally getting to see Northern Alliance
Malcolm Middleton's secret gig
Barbarossa
Diamond Family Archive
seeing Brendan/Viking Moses around
Romanhead and Rozi Plain's sets (sadly i missed Rachael Dadd)
sunshine!
chips from Pittenweem!
MC Quake!

And again, this years Homegame was braw and had the added bonus of us playing! Even if we were a little ropey.

Similar highlights to last year - Diamond Family Archive, Pictish Trail and Adem especially. Dancing to King Creosote was fun. Sunshine on Saturday was great, wind yesterday wasn't.
