kj good tip = get a house
there dirt cheap for how much you use them, its a place to sleep and store all your goods so you can continue to pilfer and collect treasures

also do the thieves guild questline first, as its final reward is better than all the guilds and invaluable for a little helper along all the other questlines, especially the main one.

i completed this game and got all the achievements and most of the daedric artifacts, and all houses, etc, and had hordes of cash and treasure.... in just over a month

after that i just told myself to stop.... ill come back to it someday, probably just before they release the next in the series.

Cheers mate. I noticed that there was a shack for sale just near the imperial harbour bit but couldn't figure out how to buy it.

get the house in anvil for 5000 or suhhin, and theres a cool quest to go with it,....
you also get a house at the imperial harbour through a quest...
to buy any house go to a tavern in the are and ask about "property for sale" or somthing similar.... they will then tell you to go talk to "so and so" and when you do, you get a chance to buy. most houses are at least 5000 but by owning one, you have a constant storage for all you loot, which can continuously be sold to make absolutley millions.

those millions can then be used in enchanting weapons and armour to make you tougher than the gods themselves.....

fuckin hell theres seriously so much in this game, aside its flaws and shit.

you don't need to buy a house to have a permanent place to store loot and sleep - if you do the first bit of the storyline you can store stuff in geoffrey's chest and sleep in Weynon Priory. Also, if you do the next bit you get Blades Armour which is pretty damn good for a lvl 1.

I'm wearing the Blades armour just now. I've managed to join the Theives and the Fighters Guilds today so things are moving nicely. I've also managed to get to grips with pickpocketing and stealing peoples house keys which saves me on lockpicks.

I cant wait to get started with the arena fighting. I'm also tempted to walk right across the map to see what I can find. I love how you can interact with absolutely everyone and they all have their own personalities. I've already managed to get into a ruck with some pirates.

anyone ever get turned into a vampire? you get boosted stats and extra spells, but you burn if you go outside. the longer you're infected, the more vampire powers you get, but the quicker the sunlight kills you. you can 'reset' the infection (not cure it) by sneaking into some poor bastard house in the dead of night and biting their necks (of course preferably your victim is a young maiden in true vampire style). i though that was one of the games cooler features.
