until the N64 came out i never had a console apart from an atari lynx, which i only ever had 2 games for, batman returns and shadow of the beast. my best mate at school had a megadrive but i used to piss him off by always wanting to rent king of the monsters 2 again, though i quite enjoyed indiscriminately murdering and destroying stuff on jungle strike.

Ahem I have the Sega saturn!
Commodore Vic 20 was my first pc, haha I thought I was very advanced writing crappy wee programmes on it! I played pac-man constantly too and something I think was called rat race?
I had a wee Donkey Kong LCD game which I got before they were sold in Britain which was way cool, still have it somewhere, I loved that game.

There have been 3D games for much longer than that though, if you count those space games which were just drawn in wireframe.
Oh well, it was the first game i'd ever played where i could turn thru 360 degrees, it blew my 12 year old mind.

Nintendo was the first console I had, the N64 to be precise. I came into gaming late but in saying that I had an amstrad and also one of the original gameboys. I've still got both infact. I remember trying to beg my parents to get my a Sega Megadrive or a SNES after playing Street Fighter on the SNES at my cousins house.
