Zero Tolerance kicked SOO much ass. I remember being amazed and engrossed by it. The little crab things that chased you everywhere and being able to pin someone against the wall with a laser pistol. And the blood, the characters. Man, what a game!!

Did anybody ever play 'RedZone' on megadrive? It was a bit like the Strike series (Desert, Jungle et al...) but there were parts when you get out of your chopper and blow things up, on foot. Very, very good. Nightmare to find for an emulator though. Or even just for MD. Never tried eBay mind...

Nintendo all the way.

my first console was a nes and i can remember a 4 month period when all i would play was marble madness. the consoles i own are
Nintendo:
NES
Snes
gamecube
in a few weeks the wii *fingers crossed*
Sega:
Megadrive II + the cd thing that doesnt work.
Dreamcast
Sony:
PSX chipped
PS2 BROKEN *FUCKING DISK READ ERROR*
Microsoft:
Xbox
Xbox 360 *out on borrowage*
Sinclair:
zx spectrum.

Some people i know would sell their old consoles to buy the new ones i never did i just wait a year till the price comes down which i can do now consider they sell at a loss therefore the prices arent gonna go down anytime soon.

that can be fixed relativly easy, i had a .pdf that was Sony's manual for fixing that error, unless the actual laser unit has burnt out completly.

i love the way they use the sellotape method for fixing it and charge people £70 for it. it made me change my opinions on Sony big time.

I like how even the poll is. I remember the days when the Sega - Nintendo rivalry was in full flow and most of my friends were split down the middle in terms of which console they owned.

hell, me and my friends still have the nintendo sega debate. modern consoles are too much about power and not enough substance to the games. the only games that've had me excited in the last few years are mario kart double dash, thousand year door and the new super mario on the ds. and now im mega excited cos sega are in talks to put sonic into the smash brothers franchise.

people always go on about that, but pretty much every game in the 16 bit days were just side scrolling platformers...usually very similar just with different characters!

im trying to remember a mega drive game...was like streets of rage but you were some blue guy..think it was armour but maybe some kind of robot? i think he had a sword..
