I got it last night with maz's bf (maz didnt seem too chuffed at us) and played it until 3.30ish and it is so fan fanfucking tastic.

Indeed.

Having a co-op marathon (haha, marathon....geddit?) with a few mates tommorow.

I don't think anyone will get your joke! I did though, but I'm awesome.

I seen my mate playing this for about 5 mins and tbh it didn't look all that exciting. I never even finished playing the 2nd one cos it was too boring. I loved the first one though.

I'm looking forward to the release of Mass Effect a lot more than Halo 3 if I'm completely honest. I'm not a huge fan of the FPS genre and Mass Effect just seems more exciting to me.

That's one of the major advantages of console gaming over PC gaming (for me anyway) - to buy a console game you have to get off your arse and go to a shop or wait a day or 2 for delivery from an etailer - whereas I've spent about £50 on steam in the last week

Ok, for anyone who plays alot of FPS games i would highly recommend, play the game on heroic or legendary, its ace!
On normal its too easy and too short (completed in under 7 hours) but playing on heroic it was alot of fun, (smarter enemy AI etc).

Its the shortest of the halo series but im still loving it.

Haha, yes it was the old Bungie joke Keerin. Allegedly the guy you play in those games is meant to be Master Chief? Duno if theres any truth to that (Marathon and the others are 200 years after the events in Halo) buuuuut...if you complete the game on Legendary theres meant to be an extended cut scene.

do you have to play through normal to unlock heroic/legendary? that really annoys me in some games - you gotta do them on easy an find out all the story before you can play a decent game.
