first impressions, likes, dislikes etc...?

Bobby Simpson says 'slow and precise' as a plus, I'm inclined to agree.

i don't like being on a team with sledgers

methodical play is rewarded though.

Only just got my Xbox live stuff set up but I'm loving it so far. I'm also really liking the new Pro Evo. Looks really nice and the gameplay, as always, is fantastic. Only slight gripe I have is that there doesn't seem to be the Memorial match option that you had in the last one.

Gerrard... A pretty good player in real life. Amazing in PES2008.
Just try cracking a shot from the halfway line.
I've scored 4 from around that area already, in 6 games.

Brilliant update to the series, with a few tweaks that make even the "I dont play football games" types sit up and take notice.

played a mate at it the other day for the first time..5-5!

The computer seems to give you a bit less help in defence, and there seemed to be less chances than the last one. But when you get in a good position, you can pull off some spectacular stuff.

online play is buggy as hell
penalty shoot outs run dead slow
the PS3 cant handle too many players at once

luckily Konami are releasing something to resolve it soon

beside that pretty good, so much better than the new FIFA

very much enjoying it, starting to get the hang of having to vary my play more. its making for some cracking goals!
