Have they said for definite that it won't be on PC? The other GTA games made it to PC aye? Or was it just the first two? Still, it's a good excuse to get a PS3 or a 360.

I'd be surprised if it didn't come out for PC eventually.

Look at the last console generation, the PS2 got the game first because of exclusivity agreements, etc, but always came out on the Xbox and PC eventually.

hmm, slightly reassuring I spose...mind you having a look at the trailers/adverts etc it looks like pc would need some fucking specs to run that shit.

Still, I can't fucking wait to get my mits on this game one way or another!

PCs can already run stuff that looks better than the PS3 and 360 - especially if you're playing at 1280x720 or less.

Ah right...interesting. I thought the ps3 and 360 would have shat all over pc's what with the lack of games coming out for pc these days. It just seems noones really all that arsed about the pc platform these days...

GTA III, VC and SA were DEFINITELY 100% not coming out for PC ever!. GTA IV will no doubt definitely not be released for the PC, till the end of the year or something.

COD4 looks better on my PC than on a mate's 360 - I've not seen it on a PS3+HDTV though.

Crysis shits all over any console game too.

I'm also pretty sure San Andreas had a PC release date by the time it was released on PS2.

Crysis is easily the most beautiful game ever made.

The problem with GTA on the PC is usually performance. Even your slightly better than average system today will have trouble running San Andreas on a nice looking graphics detail because of the scale of the maps.

I doubt it'll be much fun on the PC to be honest, because of this. But here's hoping eh?
Next-gen games tailor made for the PC don't have this issue, i.e. Crysis. But even that is pushing the limits of hardware available to your regular joe gamer.

sorry, but that's a complete lie.

San Andreas will run like a dream on anything built since its release date - anything that could even be called average today will run it way above 30fps at better than HD resolution (remember the PS2 plays it at like 480p or something) with everything up full and hacks for extra draw distance and probably texture packs too, if they exist.

Are you still playing games on a pentium 3 or something?

I can run Crysis/Bioshock etc. cracking but I got SA about a month ago and it was sluggish and slow.

Did get it through Steam though, so who knows.

Just posting my experiences and making my own conclusions
