Nah, check out Skream - Skream! off that thread. Or Burial - Untrue. Gloomy, slow, reggae influenced, electronic beats. Geeneus does some good crossover style stuff. Some JME and Skepta beats are pretty good examples of crossover stuff as well.
Apologies for the last post if it seemed like I was taking the piss, I thought there was a joke. Last edited by Bikerboy : 14th January 2008 at 10:03 PM. |

yeah i figured that dubstep was dancey beats like what that dude had, i agree it was sub par, thats why i was confused because I've heard that dubstep is getting huge in the clubscene down south.

I just got an order in from UKRecordshop.com. It was tweleve days late and they only sent it once I emailed them about it. However, I did it the day after they finally sent it.
Got an awesome grime/dubstep/bass compilation, a t-shirt and a free Logan Sama mixtape. Other than the delay and the cost of the t-shirt, I am pleased. |

Heard chipmonk on channel U the other day, that shit got turned up LOAD! missed the name of the track tho ![]() I agree with the Scorcher album, the beats are weird, his bars are great but i can't listen to it. the levels are all fucked up too. ps, I loved the gig a while ago (Dimitrij) where you shouted SHH HUT YUH MUH and no-one knoew wtf that was all about. hahahaha |
