Fallen Into Ashes (HUN) / A Razorblade to Say Goodbye / D-Rail @ Balcony 24/10
In The Balcony Bar, Ward Road, Dundee. Firday 24th October. £FREE ENTRY!!!
Fallen Into Ashes are the newest export from the vibrant HC scene in Budapest, Hungary that has produced such bands as Newborn and Dawncore and shall be landing in the UK for a short tour. With a sound that has been compared to bands such as Shai Hulud, Poison the Well and close friends Newborn the band are one of the fastest rising groups in European hardcore, and you should not miss this rare opportunity to see them in your town! what has been said about them? Calamity Project Fanzine: “emotive, intense hardcore that ranges from all out insanity, to beautiful, mellow harmonies” Poisonfree.com: “…the refreshing combination of the different styles will please many people." Lasteffort.com: “Try to imagine a big mixture of Poison The Well, Shai Hulud, Newborn and Dawncore... and there you have Fallen Into Ashes! Excellent vocals, intensity and melody hook liners!!!” Insideknowledge.net: “The band is an important part of the Budapest Hc scene and with the fire they put into their songs, this band will have the future of the Hungarian scene” Silent Stagnation: “…Fast metallic parts, very emotional passages, mosh riffs, hectic and chaotic parts and also classical new school…Single parts remind me of bands like Poison the Well, Newborn or even Shai Hulud” Austriahardcore.com: “…some Killswitch engage, some Shai Hulud, some passion some anger” A Razorblade To Say Goodbye feature ex-labrat and tangaroa screamer Farrell on vocals, other than that i really dont know much about them. They supported Atreyu in Leeds as one of their first gigs, also some of the band members are also in D-Rail. D-Rail i also dont know much about but i do have an mp3 of theirs, once i can get it on some webspace i'll add the link here. ![]() remember, its all FREE! ![]() and a 4th band might be getting added too. |
