awesome gig

the second last song Laeto played almost had me cumming in my pants. Fucking brilliant. VLT were great too. Senator were okay, but seemed to be trying too hard. A bit self-indulgent for my liking.

I had to leave after a few of Laeto`s tunes to get the last bus home, but they sounded absolutely awesome. They reaffirm ones faith in the word "rock!"
I look forward to the album.

The Senator album is good. It was recorded and mixed by Steve Albini, so It sounds quite like In uetero.
The y have to be appluaded for not shouting about the fact it was recorded by him. A lot of bands would make it the sole seling point of the album.
And you can hear the words. I'd never known what was being sung until now. It makes sense now. But i don't think that is the best gig I've seen them do.

Laeto were fantastic. VLT were surprisingly good, liked Lee's songs best though. I've never really been into Senator at all, just not my thing.

Thanks for the nice words.
I think we've only had to do 2 encores ever, Friday being one of them. I'm usually opposed to bands doing them cos it's usually contrived, but Friday night really took us by surprise, I don't think we've ever had a warmer reception in dundee, and it was super-good fun.
I thought senator were great, they had an aire of "this is all going to go wrong at any minute" and they were just 100% pure evil. I like them a lot.
VLT were sounding much much bigger than when i'd previously seen them, much tighter and more focused as well i thought.

Thanks everyone for coming.
And thanks agian for the nice things, it was fuckin amazing.
