especially out of town bands. i don't mean to be pessi-mystic meg here, but if you're not bringing a crowd of your own mates along then i don't see how you're going to convince anyone to come and see you at a pay to play gig, regardless of how good you are. burns a hole in the pocket, so it does.

(that "pun" was shite, wasn't it?)

we can only try our best.

it's been more than a dream of mine to play in the Cathouse for about 2 years now, and to get the chance with some of our favourite bands that we know is amazing... so if you wanna go, speak to one of us... if not... dont.

Alright... At our only other cathouse gig we:

Got to play to around 300 people
Got a professional gig instead of playing in the usual toilets in Dundee
Sold most of our tickets and made a fair amount of money
Sold every last piece of merch we had
And got asked back

Anyways, I shouldn't have to explain myself - like Grant said:

If you want to go - go. If not, then don't... and weeshed.

well The Goodnight Story are doing their thing but yeah if you wanna buy your ticket from Four Star then for Perth/Dundee and surrounding area people we will have a bus running from Perth to Glasgow and back and your ticket all for Â£10. so if you fancy it, go leave you name and stuff in our forum on the Hosted bands bit or send me a private message. cheers

Who does 1 get in touch with about filling in the "tba" place if it's not already taken?

If it's Twisted Ape then that's cool coz I keep meaning to phone Kelvin back about playing there.

Also how many tickets are required to be sold?

I duno for def if we wana play but I thought I would enquire anyway, if we're not playing and i'm not working I shall attend as a hardcore fan \m/

no-one's insulting you, pay to play is bullshit.

also maybe if you spoke to some professional promoters you'd get a professional gig in Dundee? just a thought.
