Well ok, we've actually dubbed it the scottish malt whisky tour...

Anyway. Was wobbling through the internet this evening in my insomniac kind of way and stumbled upon y'all.

Thought it relevent to post that thisGIRl will be heading north for about a week and a half. Additionally you'll see a gap in the dates (the 10th) any suggestions for places to play that we're missing (or promoters to speak with) much appreciated. Dundee maybe? Perth?

Hey there

We are EMO/PUNK band from inverness called E.K.O( Electric Kink Odyssey) and we are looking to play a few gigs outside inverness! We are looking to maybe play a few support slots to bands in places like Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh! Is there anyone out there that coudl possibily help us! If you can give us a shout!

We have support bands like The Vaults( radio 1s best unsigned act 2003) we have just come of the biggest support slot we have had which was supporting INME on the 8th of june in blue(inverness) and we also have the support to X is loaded and THisGirl coming up which is happening on the 8th of august! We have also played alot of local gigs in and around inverness which has got us a good following so we are trying to expand on it! We are also going into the studio to record our first ep at the end of july!

I hope that will help u decide to maybe give us a gig!

Hey there -
Well we managed to find a place to play on the 10th - Dundee here we come. Wesport is the place adn we'll all be there with well, probably several bottles of scotch. (we aint calling this the scottish malt whisky tour for nothin!)

they are one of the worst live bands i have ever seen.

...I saw them at tuts. didn't like it at all. they had been built up to be so great and "energetic". i just found that they tried too hard to jump, if you know what i mean...there is more to energy in live music than jumping around like bunnies on crack.

that said, they are doing quite well. i wish them luck!
