Stories & Comets....
As a rule, a lot of bands, after getting together and saying ‘we should start a band!’ there’s a big period of practicing and getting to know each other as musicians. Stories and Comets didn’t follow this rule at all. After only 6 practices they recorded a 3 track demo CD and got the ball hurtling toward their goals. Consequently the band are already attracting a lot of attention, ranging from securing themselves a record deal, gaining air-play on Radio 1 and being invited to play various tours planned for 2004.

Failsafe...
Failsafe began as a few school friends having fun and learning how to play their instruments in the early part of 2000. For a long time, they were known as Duckhunt and slowly found their style and sound, playing gigs in and around their native Preston and Manchester. After several years and a number of member changes the E.P 'Variations on a Theme' was recorded at Prism Studios in Stoke with the concrete line-up you see before you. The E.P began life selling well at gigs in the early part of 2004 before grabbing the attention of Deck Cheese Records. Failsafe were then offered the opportunity to join the label after being invited to play with No Comply
