It'd be awesome if there was good support, actually it'd be incredible on the fact of it being Champion alone if the thought of having to go to the Cathouse was bummin' me out so much.

ill be there with bells on for champion, but its when i see a room full of idiotic follow the flock assholes cheering when they say "support your scene" or "this is what hardcore is all about" or "thanks to the diy scene for being awesome"i will start throwing beer at them.

given its cpl, i would reckon its gonna be shitty generic metalcore that claims to be hardcore, no need for me to point out who the likely candidates are...

shoudl get engage and divide playing down in glasgow for once with them. Some decent bands supporting might make up for the fact that it is at the shitty cathouse but then again some metalcore will nodoubt get it like usual

Please God, no Stoma. No Azriel. No other Kelvin-Loves-Us-So-We-Must-Play-Even-Though-We-Don't-Fit-The-Bill! type bands. PLEASE. The Cathouse is bad enough without having to navigate your way through 150 screaming Stoma / Azriel groupie 14 year old girls who think they're "emo" and like "stars and pink things and the fat one from Funeral For a Friend".

Aye it'd much rather it was Actions Speak Louder or MDK, or WATK, CDH, just because its smaller promotions company, the money is distributed fairly and theres no LOADS of making money and things like that.....and the fact that the supports are usally bands which pull a crowd rather than ones which are better sutied sound-wise to the bill.
But its CPL, they have more money......this is what happens....

I just fucking GLAD im getting to see Champion again, and Comeback Kid for the first time.
Rather than be all PISSY and angry about it, im going to go there, and enjoy it and dance.
Maybe the barrier will get taken down, like it did in tuts, you never know.

So hopefully it'll be a good gig, because in all honesty, whining and moaning ruins shows...

Lets not be bitter and enjoy the bands!
