Dunfermline Metalfest III
The third Dunfermline metal fest takes place this Friday (20th August) upstairs in Monty's on Guildhall Street Dunfermline.

Doors open at around 7 and close at 2, £3 pound entrance with all proceeds going to the 'Save Our Sara' campaign.

Bands Include:
Shackled
Menstrual Gore
Asphyxia
Until September
Leveux

And more TBC.

If you can get the line-up and promote it enough then you could have a good show.
I've played in far too many gigs around Dunfermlinethat had a ton of potential and no promotion whatsoever and ended up being a let down, eg, Gig In The Glen 2004.
The interest will be there but I don't know anything about putting on a gig.

one of our early gigs was in Dunfermline- it was in 98. There were the other bands, the cleaner and someone's gran in attendance.

well if someone wants to help me with promoting it i'd gladly put engage on in dunfermline
so who is it who puts on this metalfest?

Erm, there's a couple of people I think, Ian from Twenty Inch Kings is probably the guy you want to get in touch with for putting a gig like that on.
I'm not sure he's going to be at Monty's on Friday though and T.I.K aren't gigging right now I don't think.
He posts on here and I do believe he likes his hardcore too.

Last night's metalfest received a great response managing to raise just shy of £400 for the 'Save Our Sara' campaign. This was due to performances from. Shackled, Until September, Menstrual Gore and more.
My band (AsphyxiA) headlined which was unexpected but welcome too.
Thanks to anyone who came out to watch the gig, and especially anyone who stayed the distance to watch AsphyxiA.
