with the amount of grief i've had

but why do people insist on talking REALLY REALLY LOUDLY at a gig that's meant to be quiet

if you want to catch up, i'll give you some money to get a coffee so you can fuck off and theni can actually hear what's going on

Last time The A Forest played at the Rep there was a group of girls who appeared to be the cellists friends who talked so loudly I could hear them clearly from my seat in the upstairs bar. It would appear the one of the downsides of having a large audience of friends from the art school, people who don't go to gigs unless their pals are playing, is that they aren't there for the music at all. I have seen 'art school' audiences talk over practically everything so enamoured they are of the sound of their own, self important braying.

to be fair i don't think any of the annoying fuckers were with any of the bands

i think the had a toss up between the gig and the cinema

but they realised that the cinema might actually drown their pointless noise out

Last night seemed to be a triumph of the power of the simpsons on the 'normal gig going public. But it was still busy. Just didn't see any of the people there that I thought I would.
St judes were good, and so were severin. We were a bit shambolic as usual.

I think i know who that was, and they were absolutely shitfaced, thus why. And Eilidh doesn't go to the Art School, only one of us does!

Friday was weird. We were pretty sloppy, but St Judes and Severin were great. Pretty much none of our "usual" crowd was there. It was alright though. Think i've lost my point...
