a seething pit always looks violent, and people will always take a knock here and there but it`s not supposed to be intentional. its about expression to the music, a release of positive (or negative) energy, a way of connecting more with the music and the band, everyone together as one.
people will always get hit, the best thing to do is if you see someone really going off, step back and leave them to it. or if your really worried, just stay out the pit.
