I know what you mean but i think thats probably to do with the bands being shit rather than them being of a specific genre. There are always people that leave after seeing their friends bands or whatever but thats cos they aren't there for the music.

Where can I get some free form bongo jazz? Sounds interesting.

No band is truly independent anyway. There will always be some nosey fucker contaminating things with their perverted social politics.

I hate genres they make for uninspiring music. I hate people that listen to or pretend to listen to only one type of music. There is more than one emotion in music and I personally have more than one emotion. If music is the soundtrack to your life, let it be varied and exciting.

It is truly all about the riffs. Good one Tobin. Keep up with the quality shows.

Make music don't wear it and don't collect it.

Alternatively; Support small independant labels by purchasing their releases NOT downloading them. Then support touring bands by purchasing shirts when they are in town rather than from corporate merch companies or webstores.

Or download them first and buy them if you like them delete them if you don't, like I do. I also buy band t-shirts at gigs if I like them but not the fashion. Labels mean nothing to me.

Tabloid esk news reporting without actual factual evidence can be very damaging to bands. Trial with no dury some would call it.

Some create others can only destroy.

i have no idea what your meaning here, but i amusingly agree, plenty talk a good game and do nothing except when it suits them

as for tabloidism... personally, i go with the facts.

The hardcore / hip hop thing was quite cool. But there have been some fabulously mismatched bills put on in Glasgow during 2004.

It's always amusing watching the fashion kids run for the door when their mates band has finished.

Well, if it's going to be three bands I'm sure Ix will have no problems holding onto a few chords a little bit longer
