I can think of nothing cooler than the merging of disco and doom.

It's a quite simple equation:

DISCO + DOOM = MAXIMUM HEAVY GROOVE!!!

So, add in a quotient of NAPALM DEATH, a pinch of ACID REIGN, a LARGE PORTION OF FLARES and a drummer with a perm and you get CATHEDRAL!!!!!
