cheers will!
That gig was just what I needed after a day like today. So many people, and so many people, up for it, and giving it something for every band. Thanks for letting us be on the bill, and thanks to everyone who turned up and made my night. A bloody good start to the new year as far as dundee metal gigs are concerned. lets carry on this way! |

Easily the best metal gig i have ever witnessed in Dundee.
All the bands were total quality, plus a great crowd. Just thought i'd let you know - after everything was counted - 210 people at the gig last night. |

but seriously, aye, some of the bands put on cracking wee sets and it would be nice to see them getting a bit of cash. We especially impressed with Equilibrium and Forgotten Sound, Self Made Man were good too |

It was a very good gig, intense and bloody hot, plus a huge crowd on hand. First band (forgotten sound i think?) opened the gig nicely, good set. Equilibrium owned, best I've seen these guys. Was great seeing the Scud guys again, been a couple of months, no Chub though! Grr

Forgotten Sound where a great opening act for this gig, nice one on getting the crowd interested before 8pm!
Equilibrium were very impressive and there new stuff stood out well. Scud were again ace, as always! SMM covered a set of 80's rock anthems brilliantley. (lol, nah i guess we played well enough! Nice one on the pits by the way!) Punchline Is Murder played an impressive set of stuff and got a damn good sound too. Soundshok were a bit unlucky with Tech problems, but still played well throughout the set and still can get a crowd going (or keep it going, for this gig..) |
