Claymore returns in 2005 to the Doghouse Bar on Saturday 26th February. Headlining the show will be the death metal quintet Sons Of Slaughter from Edinburgh, recently signed to Retribute Records. Support will come from 3rd Born Sun, Obscenic and Equilibrium. It shall be an excellent gig for all to see. Only £3 entry fee, and doors will open at 7.30pm!

Ps: The gig has now just been moved to the Doghouse Bar
I've just been told minutes ago that the westport have shafted our gig to replace it with a function instead. This action was completely out of our hands and we apologise for this. None of the people from the westport bar had the courtesy to phone either myself or Ewan to notify us of this action, thus we are completely pissed off just now. There is no excuse for unprofessional behavour such as this. Lucky for us the good people at the Doghouse will host this gig, thanks to Ross from Obscenic. Same line up, same price. 8pm, Thank you

Aye it is, sorry about that. And yes, Think Im boycoting the westport from now on, seems like they're playing there old tricks once again. I wouldnt be surprised if they started phasing out Metal/Alternative gigs altogether, Andy has never liked them, cept ofcourse if they bring him lots of money... The fact that 5 A4 posters for the gig, plus 80 flyers, plus our £25 deposit, plus two phone numbers in for the February 26th along with 2 confirmations and update of current bands on the bill checked and signed for seems almost too sneaky to be true. Funny thing we found out though tonight is that the guy who booked the function was told they'd be bumping us for this! Hmmm.

Don't probably boycott it Darren, definitely boycott it. I refuse to attend or play gigs there in future and most importantly, drink there on a weekly basis!

What a shower of fucking arseholes the people at the Westport are. Just as well I checked UGS Today, because me and the other guys from TIK are coming up from Dunfermline to see this show.

I was going to give Ross a phone anyway, but this is still totally out of order.

Also, can anyone tell me where the Doghouse actually is, as I've never been.

Cant wait for this tonight. Hopefully There will be a fair turnout even tho the things been moved at the last minute. Text messages are currently flying all over dundee & beyond informing folk of this change!

Ourselves (3BS) have a new song ready for tonite as well! So hopefully that wont be a royal fuck up! But it is sounding rather tastee.

And for Monsiuer Twenty Inch Kings the Doghouse isnt far from the new westie and is right beside the old westie! 5 minute walk in a sorta westerly direction! So bring a compass! Alternitvely phone Bald Ross & he'll sort ye oot!

Agreed. We managed to clear a few things out with the Westport, still have my doubts about their story but at least no blood was shead. But still, the westport need to set their priorities straight and stop fucking folk around. Sarah at the Doghouse has been ever so helpful with our situation, and seems to have an understanding of how to run a venue properly. If things go to plan for them, and they get a decent PA, the Doghouse will become a great local venue forsure, surpassing the Westport
