Kipper Family to dine with Royalty!

Ruler of Fenceland KING CREOSOTE is to be entertained and is to entertain the KIPPER FAMILY and friends during a state visit to Dundee.

.The Pictish Trail.
.Otterley.
.REP.THEATRE.10-3-05.£4.

An aperitif will be served in the crisp and calm REPERTORY THEATRE café before starters OTTERLEY. They will tingle the extremities of all present as they divulge their delicate light offering. They consist of dreamlike vocals dripped through ultra melodic lashes of synth and sweet guitar. The trip-trip-trip nature of the electronic drum beats surprisingly compliments the overall delightfulness of the pop trio.

Fence court jester THE PICTISH TRAIL will then entertain the subjects, partaking in jingly acoustic conversation his audience who will surely be drawn to his honest vocal chords. His tumble rumble guitar craft will take everybody down the Tay round the corner and to a quiet seaside pub of the East Neuk of Fife for a bellyful of jinx. A rare treat it will be for Dundee to be entertained by such a performer!

KING CREOSOTE will bring this veritable banquet to a close. It is at this point where the subjects of Fenceland can take pride in their head of state as a fine specimen of what fence is all about. His down to earth ability to charm and capture his audience will surely spark the imagination of those off the dreary streets and help them to feel a little less alone. He will use the simple medium of geetar and throat.

The cost of this evening is £4 and tickets should be available from Groucho’s music shop or on the door. We would also advise those hoping to attend this banquet to be there by 8.30pm although the bar will be open for drinks previous to this time.

Kipper Family is an independent, non-profitable promotion collective based in Fife. We hope to be putting on further gigs in the Dundee area.

I forgot to mention that Northern Remedy are playing at Felt on the same night, and they expect a sellout. A tad optimistic perhaps, but if they are proved right, and your stuck for somewhere to go, come along eh

I think the only thing that would have made this gig better would have been if Down the tiny steps were playing too. As it is I am dying to see king creosote, and this gig looks miles better than anything that's happening in dundee that night.
However. We will have practice that night, and becasue some beer drinking, sweaty rockers stole our slot at stage, we don't finnish until 11pm. This is crap, coz I'm always too tired to do anything after this.
