more stuff
A bit more info about this gig:
The full line up is: Jo Mango - Glasgow six piece playing beautiful tunes. If you like Belle + Sebastian / Beth Orton and the stuff like that you'll love them. More info/mp3s etc at www.jomango.co.uk Uncle Fritz - Well known Dundee singer/songwriter. Quality material. Nuff said. the foundry - New indie band from Dundee playing an acoustic set. Some of them are students. Don't let that put you off. plus we should have one more acoustic flavoured act on the bill. The event will feature a raffle and some other 'fun' fundraising stuff. All profits go to the Cosecha Trust who work helping poor people in Guatemala get their heads above water. They help with farming, fair trade products, education etc etc Basically its a really good cause so come along and pay your money and get a great night of quality acoustic entertainment. Suitable for all the family! The Mark Henderson Centre is a hall just up the Hilltown behind the Wellgate. It is big and there will be a cheap bar. What more do you want?? |
