Manchester’s premier female-fronted GLAM (GLittery, Anthemic, Melodic) Rock band SADIE HAWKINS DANCE rock Kirkcaldy’s Path Tavern on SAT, 17th SEPTEMBER.

This night is Scotland’s first opportunity to hear the band described by Siouxsie Sioux as “a glamorous punch to the gut”.

For those uninitiated, SADIE HAWKINS DANCE are a hyped-up melodic rock quintet with hard metal and emo icing...and more fret-fireworks than a cold November's eve.

The band have recently returned from a successful tour of Norway, with Scandanavia's answer to Tool, the mighty Ribozyme. Comparisons to the SHD sound and stage show range from Sioxsie and the Banshees to Skunk Anansie, via Head Automatica and Garbage, with lashings of pizz and zazz.

If you like your rock raw, your glitter gold and your women savage, get on down there!

Doors open 9pm, entry is a meagre £4, with support coming from the dark and dirty 13 Tombs.
