Black Cougar Shock Unit

When you’ve honed your skills from the hot bed of all good punk rock, Gainesville, USA, you know a bands going to be good. BCSU rip out some gritty melodic punk rock, with the trademark rasping vocals, the band members have all been in active service over the years in many bands including Panthro UK United 13 (considered by some to be the most important band to ever come out of North Florida) House on Fire, Don’s Ex Girlfriend. The band founding member reloacated to Atlanta, Georgia and started up again.
The result is Godzilla Tripwire, an awesome album full of melodic hardcore tunes,
Not to be missed, a mix up of Panthro, Hot Water Music and a hint of Leatherface await you.

Former Cell Mates

FORMER CELL MATES answered their calling in the fruitless, barren wasteland that was the music scene of the new millennium. Armed with Cheap guitars, premium Lager and fatigued by the numerous insipid indie bedroom dwellers, punk rock fashionistas and pretenders to the rock and roll throne. FORMER CELL MATES made it their aim to put the soul into rock 'n' roll and the spunk in cow punk.
Mixing up the sound of rock giants Thin Lizzy and Motorhead with upstarts Turbonegro and the melodies of The Replacements to guide them through the night.
This is what happens when you’ve got members from Leatherface, the Golden Virgins and Coyote Men in your ranks.
Unleash the Rock ‘n’ Roll fury.
This is their only Scottish date on this tour.

Dead Or American

Hailing from the city with the other nice castle, Stirling. DorA blast out rock with a twist. This isn’t post punk or whatever Kerrang have decided to call it. This is music with passion, with heart and fed on a diet of Fugazi, Mudhoney, Gang of Four to name a few.
Just finished recording their debut album, which is as yet untitled, DorA make a welcome return to the capital.

Misled Youth

Edinburghs’ very own Ska kings. Think Less Than Jake, a bit of old school Specials and Madness with the power of Rise Against, these guys rip. This gig comes in the middle of a few gigs for them, so the should be on fire.
A fine addition to the night.

Spoke to Scott today and he's not sure. Will phone Scott tomorrow and text Boab, but I'm betting that Boab will have forgotten about it. Asked John Rooney, but for some reason he wants to know when the gig will finish, as he's on holiday all week I don't know why he needs to know - he says he'll phone me tomorrow morning.
