Chris- there is no Glasgow gig.. it's in Dundee.

AFAIK Glasgow was never confirmed in the first place, and most likely shouldn't have been advertised at the time it was. Sorry.

I don't know the details of the whole Glasgow thing.. but I was offered the show on numerous occasions, and I said yes.

For smaller shows like rejuvenate, yeah.
But the last Champion show had people from all around- Aberdeen, Fife, Glasgow you name it, and it worked really well. For shows like that, Dundee is pretty central, and there'a always a good turnout - was a lot better last time than the Tuts show.

Lets not kid ourselves on here mate.
Dundee is out of the way for anyone, except dundonians.
Transport is pretty much NIL anywhere after like 9pm.

Id agree it was well better than the tuts show, but thats cause tuts wasnt a DIY show, it was badly advertised, and the supports were hardly apt.
You see what im saying here?

same for anywhere, dude.. all the guys who live north of Glasgow have the same problem with gigs there
Was fine last time.. maybe an early show would be better this time.. I dunno.

That's true.. but I don't think it'll be less busy than it would in Glasgow. It was certainly a better HC bill than the Tuts gig.. like I always said that helps!

!

Dude theres 10 of you. That might come across as jokey, but Im really being serious. You've said it yourself - "baring some fashion metal kids" there ISNT a scene outside IRN CRU in dundee. Only guys I know that came from Aberdeen was maybe Neil, and Jamie brought his distro from perth..

Do whatever you want mate its your show - I just think your dead wrong about the attendance.

All I can say is this: the Glasgow date screwed up for whatever reason (don't ask me why, cos I don't know). I dont' know if there ever was a proper date, in the 'booked' sense. But I was offered it since May: I said ok then , and I'm still saying ok.

But going on last time, I'm sure it'll be good wherever it is..

FWIW, there's around 10 'old-school' dudes in Glasgow too- the majority are metalcore kids, which is cool too; but that's just like in Dundee.

The more 'fashion-core' kids do love champion here too.. they will be there (if nowhere else)

i'm quite rightly pissed off about all of this.

my issue lies with Mark Radarr/Trainwreck/Systern Collapse/Poorly Run Promo's.

however, i feel it must be said that a good glasgow attendance absolutely mammoths a good dundee one. i've had enough with regards to this date, its quite simply not worth the hassle when its involved with tourbookers such as this.

marco and avocado can solidly fuck themselves.
