It's no lie, although it was Mike "Lightning" Lennie who posted that under my name.


I've never played at the union before, I hope I don't end up doing something embarrassing like the 'splits'.

But come along, it's a cancer research benefit, so we need as many shiny coins to exchange the bar for smokes and alcohol and radioactive shit. We're also gonna have extra strength sunbeds on all night if you fancy getting orange wid it.

Can all regulars of the union please make sure you lock-zip your implant pouches and ask your boyfriends to leave their wellies at the door.

But the people who run The Union, in particular the bouncers are a bunch of fucking arseholes who don't have a fucking clue. Good on whoever is trying to get live music in there but unless there is an overall change in attitude as far as the owners are concerned I can't see it becoming a regular thing.

as much as i hate to say this, i cant see it being a busy gig tonight : (

also, my mate practises up where the gigs being held, the PA systems is well, shite to be honest. kept fucking up when i sat through a practise.

hope it all goes well though, there should have been far more advertising.
