Promoters or Venues?... DIY or Professional? We need your help...

The Midnight Noise Collective are looking to add more shows to the plans for the next few months anywhere and everywhere in scotland and as often as possible... Particularly in places like Dundee, Perth, Stirling... Well really just wherever will have them basically... Glasgow Edinburgh, anything considered.

They are just looking for places to play, and are not looking for much in the way of money... Just the chance to play and to spread the word about the band.

Angry Mics (old Barcode) in Perth are sound for letting folk get gigs, no cost, you can arrange your own support and stuff, but dont expect too much in the way of a crowd (especially on friday and saturday nights) unless you're bringing your own, which kinda defeats the purpose of playing outside your own town... Look them up in the phonebook, probably still be under the name Barcode though.

Not 100% sure of the deal with The Retreat, but it's a cool venue if you don't mind getting into a fight with a casual after (I think its free). Sadly same story, dont expect a crowd unless your bringing one.

If you dont want to arrange gigs yourselves, look for promoters of shows that look as though they might be doing the sort of gigs that your band would be suited to.

Didn't know about the retreat... Ill look up a number for them... Aye I am doing my own research and what not as well, I just thought there wouldnt be any ahrm in seeing if theres was anyone on the forums who could help directly or suggest contacts that was all... Much appreciated of course!
