how can you say thought not in the same post as you pose the question?
a tad presumptous.
you also presume that three bands from america with a ticket price less than that would not be worth going to see, why?
anyway can't think of any three american band packages that are coming over but black cougar shock unit and grabass charlestons are coming over, 5 bands for a fiver by punk in scotland, no having to get there before you finish work and being flung out when the night is still young either.
theoretically i could probably come up with some 3 american band bills for under 8 pound but it's after 2 in the morning and i can hardly think what my own name is.
i'll maybe post some tomorrow. or maybe carlin will.

oh right enough, just because OTHER hardcore bands are also a fucking joke that means it's okay for Himsa and Death By Stereo to do it.

of course, thanks for reminding me, that's what hardcore is all about! doing what other people do! how could I have forgotten?

Over My Dead Body was at the Beat Bar and was only £3/4 and it was one of the best "hardcore" gigs I have ever been to.

100 Demons, No Turning Back at the Westport bar £4/5 and that was INCREDIBLE and I mean INCREDIBLE!

I know that there aren’t 3 bands from the states on the same bill on any of the aforementioned gigs but I can assure you none of these bands had outlandish guarantees.

Hardcore ethic aside, for fucks sake £8 isnt a lot of money, yeah you might miss the first few bands, but would you have been in the pit for them? Would you have been down at the front? I can say I probably wouldnt have. Id be saving it for Death By Stereo and Himsa...

But it's not gonna be £8 is it ?

If you go to buy using the www.seetickets.com link it'll cost you £11.10 - almost 40% on to the 'original' ticket price of £8

How much is added to the cost for buying them in person from One Up ?
How much is added if you buy on the phone from One Up ?
How much will they be at the door on the night ?

I'm pretty sure Himsa and Death By Stereo aren't hardcore bands.

But seriously £8 isn't that much. I guess folks from down south use ticket costs as an excuse not to come up here due to transport times and costs. It is easier to make the effort to go to shows in Glasgow....
