Tim Holehouse & My Summer As A Salvation Soldier, Edinburgh 15/06/06

Cold Dead Hands Presents

Tim Holehouse
Bleak, introspective folkiness from Tim of Among The Missing and Naked Shit. Folk punk that's got more in common with Bonnie Prince Billy or even Steve Von Till's solo stuff than Against Me (spit!).

My Summer As A Salvation Soldier
More acoustic music, this time from Thor of Icelandic hardcore band Fighting Shit. Rather than the breakneck thrash of his better know band, My Summer As A Salvation Solider owes more to Elliot Smith than Minor Threat. As dark as an Icelandic winter.

Thursday 15th June.
Will be held at a secret location- meet at the Holyrood Tavern at 7pm. If you don't know who you're looking for, email colddeadhandscollective at hotmail dot com, and we'll sort something out. We'll be taking donatations for their petrol money.

This is a map of the location of Holyrood Tavern, best way to get there from station is up Cockburn Street go left down the royal mile(high street) and right down St Marys Street(that's the orange one that says pleasance at the bottom) and turn left at the bottom. The bloody map lost the little marker when I copied it but Holyrood road is clearly marked anyway.

I actually forgot about this, been at work all night. I'm very gutted, sitting in a park drinking booze and listening to acoustic guitar would have actually been great for this evening. Hope it went/goes well.
