Tearing up the UK sweatbox circuit since 2003, singer Crystal Grenade, described by Manchesters City Life as Gwen Stefani on a bad acid trip, leads the SHD troupe. Catastrophic, freakish and utterly engaging, Ms. Grenade causes quite a technicolour splash where eer she snarls and totters in her 6 inch stilettos.

Described by Siouxsie Sioux as "a glamorous punch to the gut", SADIE HAWKINS DANCE have graced stages alongside the likes of The Glitterati, The Thermals, No Comply, Failsafe, Vice Squad, UK Subs, Kate Rusby, Mistys Big Adventure, Antiproduct, 1349 and The Dogs dAmour, and have played several festivals, including Solfest, Thimbleberry, and Leamingtons Peace Festival.
