Hey all.

Just thought i'd take the time out to let you all know that drouthy's has come under new management.

At the moment we're looking to generally improve standards and hopefully in the not to distant future get a refurb.

However, our main focas is to relaunch the place as a live music venue.

Drouthy's used to be known as a good live music venue a few years back, but its getting harder to find places in dundee to gig.

Anyway, have had various events through january and at the moment looking to fill up february with any interested parties.

I'd be up for putting on a couple of MTAT shows in Drouthies. I've seen and played at some fucking great shows in Drouthies over the years and it'd be a triumph to see things picking up again!

This is very, very good news!!! Drouthys is an awesome venue and its played host to some of the best gigs Dundee has ever seen! I'm happy.

Daygone, Juliet Kilo, Reckless, Indi Rev...a fewbands i can think of that played some good gigs in Droothys. Haha, my first band Asylum played there for our first gig but we were shite! Heeheehee!

Did drouthy's not stop doing gigs cause the bar staff were to scared to work when the punk gigs were on? This is what I heard!

no long afore they stopped doing them i went in to book a gig and they said it was becuase they werent getting decent turn outs.
