Loopallu takes place in the small fishing village of Ullapool on the shores of Lochbroom in North West Scotland. The event boasts that it's the most remote, smallest and last outdoor festival in mainland Britain but it still manages to haul some great acts up to its site.

The event is set against a stunning backdrop of green hills that rumble down to the brisk Scottish waters.

The festivals biggest supporter, is also its compere in the shape of BBC Radio 2s Janice Long

The festival actually doubles the population of the small village with
revellers enjoying all of the music in a large main tent. There's plenty
for all ages at the festival but just a 3000 capacity so get your tickets
fast. (last years event sold out three weeks in advance).

Again once all the madness has finished in the Big Top we all shift back to the village
