But personally, I think those songs are poor.

So, to sum up, I think the band can't play together and I think the songs are not good enough. That is only my opinion, and I'm not presenting it as fact, but if you are going to push your music on the public, you have to expect people to have opinions on it.

I'd also like to point out that I have no vested interest here - no gripes against the acts, the promoter or anyone. Just my view.

I always really fucking hate it when people post up their stuff for others to have a listen to (possibly in the false hope that it will be lauded with praise) and then whinge when they don't hear what they want to.

It's fucking juvenile and pathetic and it really grinds my gears.

Ok, maybe I am picking on you unfairly. But, to be perfectly honest with you, this rant is essentially the result of you slagging off a great many bands when all they've done is have an image that you find wrong, or that you find them derivative, in a manner that is basically internet tough guy, which has pissed me off for a while. Maybe you should be proud that none of the other people who've been taking a pop at sarah have the same sarcastic rep as you.

OK, how about this -

She can't write songs, her voice sounds like thick glue 'glooping' out of a pipe, the band are unbelievably inept, she uses the same 'DI'd electro acoustic' guitar sound on every song, she poses for photographs whilst rehearsing, and she sings in church.

Grace, I slag bands off when they're crap, and a lot of bands are very very crap indeed. I bet if you were in a band they'd be crap, just cos you were in them.

The voice was the first thing I noticed. It really smacks of trying too hard and sounds a bit put on.

"What on earth's that!" I declared.

Honestly, the only thing that was carrying that far to the campsite was her voice. It was worrying, and scary.
