Alyssa's Wish to play t-break

for anyone who didnt know already Alyssa's Wish have been chosen from over 450 entries to play the t-break tent at T in the park....any support would be greatly appreciated.....

Best of luck to them.

They seem to be getting quite massively popular. I heard them on radio 1 the other day - it was quite exciting actually.

Yeah, they get a hell of a lot of coverage in Aberdeen, and are immensely popular

It was one of the session scotland shows. It was a few weeks ago. I got a text message from a friend and put it on. Can't remember what song it was or anything.

I know they played at the cotton club a while ago when we were supposed to be playing with them. Beyond that I've never really heard of them gigging elsewhere.

It'd probably be a question for BigBad!

They are touring at the end of June into July and again in September.....

Hey Double B, i meant to ask, you might know - do you know off hand if any punk bands made it through the selection stages of this? i sent a demo knowing fine well we would have no chance because of our sound, in the hope they might now be open to more styles of music, apparently not. i asked for the feedback, still no reply.

T in the park has always been an "indie" kinda thing, they maintain that they are open to all styles of music but its bullshit, they know excately what they want to hear.

when will anyone take a chance on something different?

All I can say is the styles of music on show at the heat AW played at Tuts was very varied (some weird) there was a mostly female old school type punk band on that night.

Alyssa's Wish and Small Enclosed Area both made it to the t-break tent and I dont think you could describe either band as indie...

2nd or 3rd July is about the only dates...

And they are out again from 17th Sept....I have someone booking that tour so I could find out when were in scotland or put you in touch with him...
