Bands wanted for new live music night

I am running live bands once a month or every 2 weeks depending on interest. The venue is the Abertay Student Centre in the basement night club. On the nights bands play there are Jagermeister cocktails and shooters at low prices and the bar is cheap as chips. Its going to be on a friday night from approx 9pm till 2.30am. We ran the battle of the bands last friday which was a huge success.

If your band would like to play at one of these gigs please contact me and I will let you know the dates available for bands to play on.

We are also running an open mic, acoustic night if anyone is interested. It runs every tuesday night from 9pm. If you are interested you can either turn up or i can book you in on a set night.

Remember the lager is £1.60 a pint and all the drinks are very cheap come along and check it out!

We have chosen this year to have a more music orientated union for the students. It gives them a better representation of Dundee as a whole. Plus I really support the local music scene as in recent years iv seen it struggle.

The format is that we have a host for the night who will play for the first hour and any one else after that is welcome to come along and play. It is guitar only. All equipment is provided but feel free to bring along your own guitar.

Ok things are finally moving now so keep checking your mails for invites for gig dates. Most dates will be available on every second friday from the 23 february.

Thanks to everyone that has email me so far iv had a huge responce. Fingers crossed we can get everyone in at somepoint!
