I'm not sure if that's supposed to be a criticism, or that i sound like a politician or something.
regardless, i wasn't confrontational or accusatory in my contribution to this thread, and i think what i said made sense. If my post came across as too considered, it's because i'm not someone who likes to deal with being misunderstood, and if i have something to add, i don't see any shame in doing it properly. fraser |

Fraser's post on the previous page mirrors the experience we've had with recording with Robin of Sutherland.
Also, people might think Robin comes across as condescending, but he's in fact one of the most helpful and patient people you could deal with it in that environment. But, I think this has finally run its course. I'm using an M-Audio MobilePre, it is far better than Robin's current rig. |

i'm using a decent mesh pc effort, M-Audio Firewire solo, i use a Roland Micro-cube for firing stuff down in the house, and a couple of 58's.
Monitoring through B&W hi-fi speakers, and sometimes a pair of decent sennheiser monitor headphones. It's fine for me. |

I know it isn't home recording per se but I got a set of sony hi-fi headphones yesterday for my ipod and my, I forgot how good the sound quality was with hi-fi headphones! Can anyone recommend good hifi headphones for under £50?
The reason I ask here is because You lads may well have experience in hifi type headphones! |

That's for the recommendations guys! I have heard a lot of good things about seinheisser equipment in general and they would be near the top of my list for headphones probably.
The skullcrusher ones would be amazing! |
