Linux
Just out of curiousity. How many people here use Linux on their PCs?
I had a spare hard drive on my machine, and heard that linux was a good OS for programming nerds such as myself. So I took the plunge and installed Redhat Linux 9. Looks pretty good so far, was piss easy to set up, and the user interface (Gnome) is quite user friendly. Anyone else using Linux? |

Debian on my intel box, plus on my ppc box when not using OS X. I liked SGI Irix a lot.. but OS X has taken over from that for me: all the good bsd tools, plus the NextStep api.. and all the other mac gui stuff. Yeah Linux is a great programmer's os.. have you used the ps2 linux kit yet? |
