do they? the last 3 zeldas (OOT, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker) were all fairly innovative and very well received (even if the Wind Waker was a bit too easy), and mario 64 is considered by many to be one of the greatest games ever made...if nintendo bring back a character like mario or link for the new game, it's never just a simple rehash of the last game, but set in a different location (like capcom do with the resident evils), there's always something new to keep the fans coming back.

if people were getting bored of the old nintendo franchises, then why do they frequently sell more than the third party titles? nobody buys a gamecube so they can play FIFA, do they?

Mario 64 and Ocarnia of time are ace.
What I really meant was mario sunshine is a pile of jobbies and that new zelda game , the one with the stupid cartoon graphics is pap.

alright, i'll admit mario sunshine was disappointing, but the wind waker is a fucking stunning game that just happens to be a little short and a bit too easy. why are the cartoon graphics stupid? i thought they suited the game perfectly...
