Connection problems with XP
Right, just upgraded the compy to XP.
I'm having problems when I'm trying to connect to servers (video/audio streaming servers, steam to play counter-strike). Every time I've tried to load up Steam today, it's just said 'unable to connect to steam network' and by the looks of it doesn't even want to try. I can get on the web alright, no probs there, but this is getting pretty frustrating. 512k Telewest Broadband Belkin 4 port router + network card Any ideas on what's causing this? [Edit: AARGH sorry, got it sorted myself - should've allowed access in Zonealarm, I'm such a dumbass] Last edited by Flaming Toilet Bag : 20th March 2004 at 10:48 AM. |
