I've been really tempted to get this, but at 40 quid for a game that sounds too similar to Harvest Moon it's a bit steep :S

don't think there's really any point to it than make friends and pay off debts and fill up your house

Nooo it's groovalicious, I mean the beginnings a bit rubbishy because all you're doing is running about running errands for the other townsfolk who claim they're too busy. And that bloody racoon Tom Nook is akways breathing down your neck. But after that it's fun cause you get to be a part of the community and if you leave for too long they refuse to speak to you and stuff, and the seasons change, and it's all very spiffy once you get into it but I can't really explain it that well. But evilheartedyou is right, there's not actually a particular point to it...

It's amazing! Had it for quite a while now because I bought the Australian PAL version, because crazily enough it got an Australian release but not a UK one. I'm not sure what kind of market share they have down in Australia, they're always holding like Megadrive or PSOne controllers on Neighbours, which is obviously an eerily accurate reflection of Australian life.

Anyhow. Yes. There is no real point, it's just an experience. Extended play is its own reward. And collecting those ever elusive playable NES games. It's just a really fun alternative to real life..

I just got my Gamecube stuff back from my ex-girlfriend, so I'm having to bring armageddon down upon the people of sleepy 'Dundee' and delete the save-file for it. It's kind of sad.

They'll haul down my golden statue by the train station and fly American flags...

Yes, my days as dictator are over.. no more hitting Dundonian animals in the head with nets for fun. No more daytrips to the island of Cervante.

I wonder. Should I check if I've got any letters before I napalm the area?

It's not all that bad when you get another memory card with it for that price, unlike Harvest Moon which was also 39.99 and also requires a whole memory card for one save which has to be bought seperately.

yeah I know but since I'll be working and you play this in real time, I'll end up missing all the good stuff and it's doubtful I'll be staying in on christmas and new year and my birthday to play

I now have a grand total of 3 moody pillocks and 4 snobs in my town

When will the aaargh-ness end? Ah well, I can always take my troubles to Jay the groovy jay or Peaches the snazzy horse. Or maybe Buck, who likes taking long peaceful walks by the dump... Awww Animal Crossing is so great, hehehe.

bloody nook is an ass clown, he didn't tell me it would cost that mush to make the house bigger, although it does look good. I make easy money with my own little orchard and shell collecting, not forgetting fossil selling.
