It was, but it was recently announced that it was delayed.

I'm looking forward to it, at my work you get a free console of your choice when you get a permenant contract. I'm trying to swing getting a PS2, with GTA: San andreas, but depending on whether there's any cheap bundles going, I might have to buy GTA seperately.

Halo 2 is my first priority cash-wise though.

Hm. They know their target audience alright. To be honest, there's not a lot on there I like, Primal Scream & The Stone Roses I guess at a push. They seem a bit tacked on considering all the other stuff on that radio station.

Also I don't think those Primal Scream & Stone Roses songs fit one little bit with the atmosphere of the game. Certainly they do time period-wise (ie. early 90s) but realistically those songs probably wouldn't have made it onto west-coast American radio. Plus Fool's Gold has never done anything for me, and Moving On Up reminds me of Blueyonder's information channel as it's on a constant loop on that, or used to be.

My GTA would ideally be set in the late 1950s/early 60s San Francisco, and feature tons of nice poppy things like Lollipop and You Can't Hurry Love. I like the juxtaposition of extreme violence with sweet teenie bop pop.

The new stations are quite good, but it's still best going around on a BMX... even if there is no radio.
