Ok, I bought this on Friday to cheer myself up, and I'm not too proud to say that I have to eat my words about it and am *shock* enjoying it.

It does have a lot more than previous incarnations: they have done themselves proud and I'm sure they're enjoying their paid month's leave & completion bonus.

Levelling up is good and keeps you interested, I haven't earned even ONE driving skill + yet though but I'm a whizz on the old BMXs.

My original point was not that I hated GTA games or didn't enjoy them, just that as enjoyable as they are, there are a load more original games that are more original or just plain better that sell poorly due to lack of HYPE or marketing or silly little kids buying it just 'cause it's an 18. I guess it's just like me enjoying some trashy Hollywood blockbuster well enough, just not liking it as much something else. Dig?

I am however enjoying it.

Things I'll never like though are:

When they try to be funny with brand name spoofs. It's cringeworthy.
When the radio presenters try to be funny. See above.
Rap music. I'm so getting the Xbox version for custom soundtracks.

Things I do like:

Wearing my boxers above my jean-line.
Gangsta talk.
Killing to country music.

Anyway, yeah, just so you know I'm not too stubborn to have my opinion changed.. and to say I'm enjoying it.

I'm on the Robbing Uncle Sam mission and my attempts at cinematically doing a forklift drive-by on the soldiers to save Ryder ended with poor Ryder under the forklift. Oh well.
