Zelda on the N64 was one of the best games i ever played. If i could list the games i'd want to play again, Zelda would come top, followed by Goldeneye, then the Fifa and ISS soccer games.
Turok was classic too, pretty under rated until the next 2 games came out and everyone took notice. the bad thing about the N64 though was the amount of fogging on some of the games to make em run smoother. bit of a short cut in my opinion. GTA on the PS2 has never had fogging yet you can see for miles when you're on a roof or in the helicopter. makes you feel like you are in a real city. [just checking I can edit, didnt change owt ]

The fogging on N64 is cos of the pop-up on the horizon
![]() If you notice on PSOne games especially the stuff appearing far away suddenly appeared then came into focus, and normally looked crap, the N64 guys used fog all the time so by the time you were close enough to see an object it was a good enough picture of it. Alan.Geekpoints++; |

i had HTBACB on tape for the Amstrad. as for the foggin, its was just a shortcut to hide the pop up on the horizon, but if the games were designed properly, they would have been able to hide the distant popups by using the levels well, i.e.. making sure buildings obstructed far away views and through the use of trees and stuff. But Tuork was the worse because the fogging was so bad that you could only see about 20 feet in front of you, which made it a nightmare on the bigger levels and the platform jumping levels because you'd get lost easily. The music on that game was pretty good. The drums made it sound like you were getting hunted by Amazonian midget warrior people.
