Do Playstation One memory Cards work on Playstation 2's to save Playstation One games that I play?

I dont have a psone memory card on me...I am thinking bout buying one.

yes they do work on a ps2 with a ps1 game, and save progress. i just tried it out and it was fine.

yeah, but they dont save ps2 games and ps2 memory cards dont save ps1 games

same story for multi-taps, so if you want to play 4 players on a ps1 game then you'll need a ps1 multitap as well pete.

I dont need them to save for ps2 games, I was aware of that much but thanks for that.
