Sony Broadband...

'Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced Friday consumer trials for its PlayStation 2 broadband network gaming platform will be started March 31 in Britain, followed by a commercial launch expected later this spring. '

Is anyone gonna be getting on this? i dont know how its gonna work, but it would be cool if i could connect my telewest connection into the back of the PS2 and play network games.

Read more here...

I think it might work as long as subscription prices are decent, because games are expensive enough as it is without pilling on extra cost just to play em against real people.

I've also noticed these consoles getting more PC like, after all, people have been playing Quake style games online for the past 5 years or so.

Master Eiko is an unknown quantity at this point
Dont you need to buy an adaptor thing that goes into the back of the PS2 which is going to be £40. plus you need a memory card aswell (a totally blank 1) so either delete everything off the 1 you've got or its £30 for another. So theres £70 already. Bit of a bitch
