I've decided to release this unfinished tool to the world, and due to the fact i've never had time to finish my website, i'll release it here...
If you're like me, and use notepad for html creation, this is the tool for you - simply type your html in the editor in the bottom (or cut'n'paste) then click the window at the top - it will ask you for a root directory (ie. your new website is in c:\website\newone with all correct paths underneath, then you'd select c:\website\newone as the root) it's not finished, in the fact there's no save/load and you can't go back and edit the path (without restarting the app) but you can copy/paste code in/out of the editor... it might be a good tool also for learning html, so you can see exactly what the commands do! get it: http://www.dundeemedia.com/dmwebeditor.exe Enjoy! [this file has been checked for virii before uploading. this application is classed as being in beta stage and under no circumstance should this program be used on a production pc. dundeemedia can not be held liable for any damage done by the use of this program] |

I'm sorry I don't really see a use for such a tool. When I use notepad i have a browser open that points to the file and just refresh when required.
But if it is to be developed I'd suggest options for suporting multiple browsers and also defaulting the background colour to white (as is the norm for most browsers) If it had the former it may be a little useful for checking cross browser compatibility |
